The Association for the Study of Cathar Culture carries out the great work of recovering and developing the fundamental values of Qatarism as a way of life based on the restoration of the original archetype of man as being with a high potential of goodness .

Qatarism originated in the Medieval period and, at the time, it was a revolutionary movement that was founded on the great values of love, kindness,

purity, fidelity, honesty, fraternity, equality and altruistic service by conveying a wisdom of life that defacedally infused the society of its time, creating the foundations of what would lead to the original democracy.

Currently our association offers and develops the foundations of the cathar ideals for the creation of a full and authentic life through a wide range of projects, services and activities that it offers in a non-profit way, having as its basis the service selfless to others.

National and International Congresses

They have the presence of cathars and friends of the cathars from all over the world, where the grace of the Cathar festival is lived in depth through music, singing, Cathar dance and stage performance.

Where one can know deeply the way of life and the values of love, purity, wisdom, kindness, generosity and peace that take place in the fraternities of "Bonshomes and Bonesdones".

Recitals in Poetry, Dance and Cathar Music

Poetry recitals accompanied by music and plastic movements convey the harmony and love that reigned among the troubadours and Occitans in the Middle Ages.

Through direct contact with the Cathar castles, and very spesially with the castle of San Salvador it is possible to understand more deeply the primordial raises on which the Cathar culture shone throughout Spain.

Escuela de L'O'S

They regain the musical form of the troubadours and menestreles. In groups Ensamble Consolament and Amor Fino performs international tours transmitting, through their voices and music, the spheres that move to the calm peace of the Cathars.

Lectures, Workshops and Cathar Practice

They are held weekly in the centers and communities, as well as in several localities and cultural spaces that collaborate with the Association. Thematics encompass a wide range of themes and invite the historical and cultural restoration of local and universal values and the mutual sharing of the enrichment of human wisdom.

Medieval Fairs

They express an understanding of the original archetypes shown in the different ancient cultures, understanding that in pure creative expression the fullness of the original divine love is manifested.
